I figured that, given enough Ale, my friend and climbing partner S could make a good Subject for a portrait. We made plans but he went Climbing instead. On his way into a backcountry crag he skidded off an icy slab and went 25’ into the creek — breaking his Foot. Luckily For Me he had nothing better to do the next day than Sit for his portrait. He was knackered, gimpy, unhappy, and self-medicated but could, finally, sit Still.
